The meeting focused on a landmark initiative to enhance sports education in Sri Lanka by exploring the introduction of NVQ Level 7 (Degree Level) programs in Sports.
The proposed collaboration aims to combine the specialized expertise of NISS with the academic framework of the University of Vocational Technology, creating new opportunities for athletes and sports professionals to obtain internationally recognized qualifications.
Both institutions expressed their commitment to working together to support the development of the nation’s sports sector and to empower future generations through education, research, and professional training.
