Professor K.M.G. Prasanna Premadasa is an accomplished academic, researcher, and higher education reformist who leads the University of Vocational Technology with a forward-looking vision. A biotechnology expert with over a decade of experience in teaching and cutting-edge research, he is a passionate advocate for modernizing technical and vocational education in Sri Lanka. In his previous role as the Dean, he established and led the Faculty of Technology at KDU, where he played an instrumental role in building a technology faculty from the ground up. As Vice Chancellor of UoVT, he continues to champion innovation, industry collaboration, and academic excellence. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, he is dedicated to producing highly skilled graduates specifically tailored to drive the nation's production economy and empowering them to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global workforce.
